About This Spot

Stepping into Milty Wilty Drive-In feels like slipping into a cherished memory wrapped in the warmth of a small-town afternoon. Nestled just off the highway in Wautoma, this old-school drive-in invites a slower pace where the hum of conversation mingles with the clinks of sodas and the delight of shared moments. The mismatched outdoor tables, quaint playground equipment, and the gentle cheers from the miniature golf course create an atmosphere that’s as welcoming as it is unhurried.

Here, the focus isn’t just on grabbing a quick bite—it’s on savoring the simple joy of good company and satisfying, homemade treats served up with genuine care. Whether you’re grabbing a custard cone so creamy it lingers in your memory or settling in beneath the drive-in’s canopy with a refreshing shake, every detail whispers of a time when dining out was about more than just the food. The local teens who serve up smiles alongside your order contribute to a feeling of community, making even a brief stop feel rooted and personal.

Families and friends often linger, drawn not only by the classic flavors but by the playful backdrop—the putt-putt course gently inviting a friendly competition and the playground offering a pause for younger guests. In these quiet yet lively spaces, Milty Wilty becomes a place where stories unfold at a comfortable pace and each visit feels like a small celebration of local spirit.

For anyone seeking a break from the rushed and routine, this little drive-in tucked away in Wisconsin offers a peaceful retreat filled with honest food, easy smiles, and the kind of atmosphere that invites you to stay just a bit longer.

Wonderful, fun drive in style eatery. Can eat outside or inside. All food made when ordered. A lot of flavors for sodas, shakes, and malts. Have many flavors of bottled sodas too. The young man, Alex, that helped us was very nice. He took the order and brought it to us. Asked if we needed anything else. He also helped me with purchasing t-shirts and getting the correct sizes. He did an amazing job!! The staff was busy making ice cream desserts, helping at the outdoor window taking orders, cooking, etc.

The Milty Wilty, a nostalgic drive-in food joint located in the heart of Wautoma, Wisconsin, takes you back in time to the slow & easy-going days. From the mismatched outdoor seating, the retro playground equipment, the country touch in lawn ornaments, the mini golf setup, and the fantastic service by the local teens.....this is a hidden gem. Stop on by and grab some delicious food and custard at AMAZING prices! Nothing beats a stop at the Milty Wilty!!

Old school Drive-in with car hops and really decent cheeseburgers. The soft serve sundaes are great too. They also have home made pizza but ive never tried it. All at a reasonable price. Much better and cheaper than fast food.

Stellar! Adorable little roadside custard joint. I only got vanilla, but that was just about the best custard I've ever had. Not only that, but the service was excellent, and the atmosphere took me back to a better time. They also had some really fun outdoor seating, along with a mini golf course that I'll definitely be coming back for! I had a truly memorable experience!

So FUN!! . Food was great, as were the prices and service. Little diner is cute as a bug's ear!! Plenty of parking and an overhead canopy for your "drive-in" experience. IT'S ALL GOOD!! Will definitely stop here again.

This place is cute! We stoped for an ice cream snack and ended up getting a Chicago dog and pizza burger! PHENOMENAL! The service was so friendly too!

Great old diner, good prices. Everyone seems to be in a decent mood. I do not care for the custard icecream but if that's your jam that's what they have.
